And yet the largest washing machine factory in the world belongs to the American company Maytag which is located in Clyde, Ohio, America.
The factory premises are 2.4 million square feet – imagine it is the size of 55 football fields! - and in it the American Maytag washing machines are manufactured and assembled.
More than 3,000 workers - some third and fourth generation - are employed in this factory, where 20,000 washing machines are manufactured and shipped every day.
